Since 1993, Sterling Golf Management, Inc. owns, leases, operates and provides consulting & management services to golf courses in the New England area. For over 30 years, we have provided private country club-like golf course conditions at public course pricing to the residents of New England and the vacationing golfers from around the world.

Sterling Golf Management’s President, Kevin F. Osgood has over thirty three years of experience in golf course operations. He is Past-President of the New England Golf Course Owner’s Association, Past-President & the Golf Course Superintendents Association of New England and has been on the MGA Board of Directors, as well as the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund.
Sterling Golf Management is very proud of their well-deserved reputation for providing sound management practices and beautifully-conditioned golf courses. At eight of our courses we do offer memberships which entitles the membership owner to play other SGM courses.

Unicorn Golf Course, Chelmsford Country Club, Maynard Golf Course & Stoneham Oaks Golf Course, as well as providing the maintenance operation for the Fore Kicks Golf Club in Norfolk, MA.
SGM offers Consulting Services:
Analyze and recommend a company structure, compensation of employees, position training and accounting procedures. Set up all department revenue and expense budgets. Develop weekly, monthly and YTD comparative spreadsheets, additionally – set up the past three years financials for comparative studies. Analyze & advise on the current POS system, all reports generated from the POS system and booking engines. Immediate setup of “Pre Payment of online reservations” for all booking engines, and a new credit card processing avenue. Review of rates, planning of all season rates. Reconstruct Membership prices and benefits, tee time reservation capabilities for members and layout of membership sales and Marketing Procedures. Tee Time booking engine’s manipulation & optimization of all booking engines that will be used. Total agronomy plan, purchasing of materials. Complete review of Food & Beverage / Function and Banquet Department: Labor budgets, financials, and templates, purchasing, marketing, 3-year strategic plan including new revenue streams. Social media marketing, advertising, and E mail blasting. Reorganize a complete ongoing marketing program. [All Social Media Outlets to be utilized weekly]suggest & develop new revenue streams for golf, banquets, functions, and restaurant.

The managers of Sterling Golf Management are highly qualified with strong backgrounds in Pro Shop management, grounds maintenance and food service. Emphasis is placed on catering to the needs of the golfer through friendly and courteous professionalism. All of our Golf Professionals are members of the PGA of America and all of our Superintendents are members of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
Every facility under our management is closely supervised to ensure complete customer satisfaction, whether it’s in the Pro Shop, on the golf course or in the function hall. Each of our on-site managers has been highly trained, and our course superintendents have the proper education from accredited institutions to assist them in maintaining the grounds up to our very high standards.
