2008 Men's League
Welcome to the
2008 Season at Newton Commonwealth Golf Course!
We will be offering for
the first time a men’s league at Newton Commonwealth run by Sterling Golf.
This will be run very much like our ladies’ league where you pick a day and
a tee time and that is your league time for a 15 week period. It is very
informal and you are not required to show up every week. As this is the
first men’s league we have set up, we will make changes throughout the year
to help create a fun and entertaining night. All groups will be starting on
the 10th tee.
If you are interested
in our men’s league, you may sign up by filling out our application, as well
as our inner club application. Please forward a check for a total of $350 for your
league payment and inner club dues and send it to Newton Commonwealth GC,
ATTN Albie Bargoot, 212 Kenrick Street, Newton, MA 02458 or go to:

If you pay online please make note of what day and time you wish to
play. Please click the links above for both applications.
Rain checks will be
issued according to the weather. If the weather is terrible all day the
league will be canceled by 2:00 p.m. the day of play. If there is a
chance of rain or thunder, then the decision will be made closer to the
first tee time. Rain checks are not given if you choose not to show up for
your league time. You may give your spot to someone else if you know that
you will be unable to play. All rain checks will be added to your account
in the form of credits to be used for golf or merchandise.
Credits issued for 2008
men’s league must be used by December 1st, 2008. These
credits can NOT be used for gift cards or 2009 men’s league payments or any
other items. By signing up for the 2008 men’s league you acknowledge SGM’s
rain check and league credit policy.
A tee time will be
assigned to you/your group for the entire season. Applications will be
processed on a first come, first served basis, based on a postmark.
Deadline for sign up and changes is March 31st. Please read and
complete the enclosed form.
