Dear Members and Friends:
The golf season is almost upon us and Brad Durrin, our Head PGA Professional, has been busy making plans for an exciting tournament and league season, and ordering new stock for the pro shop.
Chelmsford CC Members have the advantage of scheduling rounds during prime times, and are able to make tee times seven days in advance - three days ahead of the general public. Other membership benefits include two free rounds of golf at each of the courses operated by Sterling Golf Management: Newton Commonwealth (617-630-1971), Norwood Country Club (781-769-5880) and The Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey, NH (603-532-4300). This is a $240 value! All we ask is that you call the club in advance to reserve a tee time and be prepared to present your Membership card with proper identification. (Please note that membership rounds at other SGM clubs on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are allowed after 1:00 p.m.only).
Beginning with the 2009 season we offered a six day limited membership that allows golf Monday thru Saturdays and also, all Juniors could play for free under a FAMILY Membership. This will continue with the 2010 memberships.
Our function hall coordinator Karen Butler, has the bar and function room shined up and waiting for everyone to return. If you, a neighbor, or friend are planning a special event or celebration, please keep the Chelmsford Country Club’s function hall in mind. Karen will be happy to put together the entire affair. Our chef has a new menu to appeal to everyone’s tastes so feel free to give us a call and we’ll do the rest!
